About the college:

Berbera College of Fisheries and maritime studies is a community supported institution started in 2005. The college’s vision is to develop a sustainable fishing and shipping industries in the country and the wider region in order to tap the underutilized marine and coastal resources.

Position: Instructor – Maritime Field

Location: Berbera Town, Somaliland

Requirements:
• A degree in maritime studies (navigation and seamanship)
• At least 2 years hands-on experience in a shipping industry or a maritime institution.
• Ready to work under minimum supervision.
• Knowledge in basic computer packages of Microsoft Office will be a great advantage.

Position: Instructor – English

Requirements:

• A degree in Education majoring in English Language from a recognized higher learning institution
• At least 2 years experience in a busy learning institution preferably a post secondary education.
• Ready to work under minimum supervision
• Knowledge in Somali language and customs will be a great advantage
• Knowledge in basic computer packages of Microsoft Office will be a great advantage.
